Our story
Charity first, quality always
Netrika Eye Care Hospital was set up by Dr. Kamlesh Kumar under the aegis of Netrika Foundation, with the vision of providing ‘Good sight and Quality Life for all’. Compassionate eye care is our mantra.
Charity is our main way of working. It is supported largely by individual and institutional donations, and in a small part by paying patients.
Who we serve
Everyone, whatever they can pay
The base hospital at Motihari is our flagship. It serves paying patients and BPL patients, who are non-paying or subsidised, under the same roof.
We serve one and all, regardless of caste, colour or creed, whether they can pay, pay a little or not pay at all, always with humility and care.

Cataract surgery
Done with an advanced PHACO machine for safer removal of cataract.
Glaucoma
Comprehensive diagnosis and treatment to manage eye pressure.
Retina, cornea and refractive (LASIK)
Treatment of retina and cornea conditions, and refractive procedures including LASIK.
Children’s eye care
Pediatric ophthalmology and squint therapy.
General eye care
Routine eye exams, treatment for dry eyes and infections, and spectacles.
Diabetic eye care
Thorough check-ups for diabetic retinopathy.
Inflammation and uveitis
Early detection and targeted management, to protect long-term eye health and vision.

Our panel of expert doctors includes AIIMS and Lahan alumni: ophthalmologists, eye surgeons, optometrists and anesthetists, among others. They work with modern equipment and years of experience in solving cases.

Our staff are always willing to ease worries. Once an appointment is booked, specialists speak with the patient and arrange the care needed under the doctor and optometrists.
